Annie Mayer was born on 5 March 1876 at Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Andrew Mayer and Rica Neiding. Annie Mayer married, at age 22, Andrew W. Siegel, age 29, son of Johann Gottlieb Siegel and Mary Ann Kiess, on Wednesday, 22 June 1898 at Elmira, Chemung County, New York.
