Raymond Franklin Hartman was born on 23 May 1914 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Raymond M. Hartman and Mabel Marie Koch. Raymond Franklin Hartman married, at age 20, Pearl Grace Waltz, age 20, daughter of Ezra Walter Waltz and Caroline Laura Ulmer, on Wednesday, 9 January 1935.1 Raymond Franklin Hartman died on 17 June 1986 at Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 72 years and 25 days.2 He was buried in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2

R. Frank Hartman, 72, of Williamsport RD #1, died at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 1986, in the emergency room of Divine Providence Hospital, where he was taken by ambulance after being stricken while driving on Route 180 in Fairfield Township.
Born May 23, 1914, in this city, he was the son of Raymond and Mabel Koch Hartman. He retired in 1979 after 20 years with Bethlehem Steel. He was a member of the Bethlehem Steel Retirees and was a volunteer at Williamsport Hospital. He was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church and the W. W. Newcomer Sunday School class.
He and his wife, the former Pearl G. Waltz, observed their 51st wedding anniversary on the 9th of January. Surviving besides his wife, are two sons, Fred L., of Williamsport RD #1, and Gary W., of Strasburg; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Williamson, of Big Arm, Montana, and five grandchildren. He was Bethlehem Steel.
