Jacob E. Raker was born on 8 October 1887 at Rose Valley, Gamble Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of George Raker and Sarah Ulmer. Jacob E. Raker married, at age 22, Ellen Clara Schaefer, age 21, daughter of Jacob Thomas Schaeffer and Sarah Elizabeth Ulmer, on Tuesday, 1 February 1910.1 Jacob E. Raker died on 19 May 1964 at age 76 years, 7 months and 11 days.1 He was buried in the Trout Run Cemetery, located in Lewis Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
