     Thomas Ephraim Shafer was born on 31 January 1914 at Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Horace Arthur Shafer and Margaret Dorothea Schaeffer. Thomas Ephraim Shafer married, at age 24, Tabea Kaiser, age 21 on Saturday, 24 September 1938. Thomas Ephraim Shafer died on 11 March 1992 at Rochester, Monroe County, New York, at age 78 years, 1 month and 11 days.2 He was buried in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     He was Tool Designer - Kodak.
