William Boyer married, at age 35, Mary Christine Shafer, age 33, daughter of Frederick Schäffer and Dorothea Heim, on Monday, 5 September 1898 Year of marriage could be 1893.2 William Boyer died on 10 August 1955 at McMinnville, Yamhill County, Oregon, at age 92 years, 4 months and 24 days.3
