Carmela M. Cuoco was born on 19 June 1924 at Wilmerding, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.3,1 She was the daughter of Samuel Cuoco and Marianna DiBiase.1 Carmela M. Cuoco was baptized at Braddock, Washington County, Pennsylvania.3 She married, at age 21, LaRue Edward Sholder, age 20, son of Charles William Sholder and Ida Amelia Lorson, on Sunday, 15 July 1945 at Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.3,1
Carmela M. Cuoco died on 16 June 2006 at Sycamore Manor Health Center, Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 81 years, 11 months and 28 days.1,2 She was buried on 20 June 2006 in the Saint Boniface Catholic Church Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Kenton L. Hunt and Reverend David McCoy.1
Carmela M. Cuoco also went by the name of Mildred.2 Carmela M. Cuoco also went by the name of Milly. Carmela M.'s surname has also been spelled as Cook. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse between 1960 and 1990. She lived at 798 West Edwin Street, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, between 1980 and 2004. She was widowed at age 61 by the death of LaRue on 4 July 1985.3,4,1 Her obituary was published on 17 June 2006 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the widow of the late LaRue E. Sholder, who preceded her in death on July 4, 1985. They were married on July 15, 1945. Together they observed 39 years of marriage.
Mrs. Sholder was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Williamsport.
She had been employed in the nursing departments of Divine Providence Hospital and the Williamsport Home.

Sholder, also of Williamsport; one sister and two brothers, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 East Central Avenue, South Williamsport. Her pastor, Rev. Kenton L. Hunt, will officiate. Assisting will be Rev. David McCoy of the Nippenose Bible Fellowship. Interment will follow at the Saint Boniface Church Cemetery, Williamsport.
The family will receive condolence visits on Tuesday morning, June 20, 2006 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the Noll Funeral Home. The family will provide the flowers.
