     Francis Allen Shorkley was born circa 1858.1 He was the son of Charles Shorkley and Elizabeth [—?—].1 Francis Allen Shorkley married Susan Josephine Updegraff, age 25, daughter of Thomas Updegraff and Rebecca Raiguel, on Wednesday, 15 May 1889 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 Francis Allen Shorkley died on 15 June 1908.1
     He was a merchant.
