     Robert G. Olive was born on 18 June 1922.1 He was the son of James G. Olive and Ruth Olive Fenton. Robert G. Olive married, at age 25, Lorraine Harriet Updegraff, age 26, daughter of Adelbert Updegraff and Harriet L. Randall, on Saturday, 2 August 1947 at Wellsburg, Chemung County, New York.2 Robert G. Olive died on 28 April 1980 at age 57 years, 10 months and 10 days.1
     He was a mechanical engineer for IBM.
