     Adelbert Updegraff was born on 11 December 1892 at Big Pond, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Thomas Updegraff and Huldah Sargeant. Adelbert Updegraff married, at age 26, Harriet L. Randall, daughter of Yuba Randall and Mildred A. Winters, on Wednesday, 22 October 1919 at Horseheads, Chemung County, New York.2 Adelbert Updegraff died on 9 February 1974 at age 81 years, 1 month and 29 days.1 He was buried in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, located in Elmira, Chemung County, New York.2
     He was a machinist in 1949.
