Anna Mae Fisher was born on 3 November 1939.1 She was the daughter of Nelson Monroe Fisher and Dorothy Ida Paulhamus. Anna Mae Fisher married Earl Lee Hensler, son of Victor W. Hensler and Emma Catherine Pepperman, circa 1959. Anna Mae Fisher died on 22 April 2001 at age 61 years, 5 months and 19 days.1
Her obituary was published on 24 April 2001 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Anna Mae Hensler, 61, of 4884 Pine Run Road, Linden, died Sunday, April 22, 2001, in Williamsport Hospital. She was born November 3, 1939 in Williamsport, a daughter of Nelson and Dorothy Paulhamus Fisher of Jersey Shore.
She and her husband, Earl L. Hensler, would have celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary in July. She worked with her husband on their farm. Mrs. Hensler was a 1958 graduate of Williamsport High School, a member of St. John's Chapel United Methodist Church, the Marine Corps League Auxiliary, and the Larry's Creek Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling and attending the cancer treatment support group.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents are two sons, Rickey L. of Jersey Shore and Brian E. at home; a daughter, Darlene M. Malischewski of Allenwood; three grandchildren; three sisters, Beaty Hall, Maxine Peacock and Kay Paulhamus, all of Jersey Shore; and a brother, Robert Fisher of Cogan Station.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., with her pastor, the Rev. Judith P. Hulslander officiating. Burial will be in State Road Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions should be made to St. John's Chapel U.M.C., c/o Nancy Cohick, 4550 Pine Run Road, Linden, PA 17744.2
