     Ralph E. Bower was born on 6 April 1913.1,2 He was the son of William D. Bower and Elizabeth A. Edler. Ralph E. Bower married, at age 25, Eva R. Marquardt, age 27, daughter of Reuben O. Marquardt and Margaret M. Lovell, on Wednesday, 9 November 1938 by the Reverend Benjamin Griffin Hoffman.3 Ralph E. Bower died on 24 August 1993 at age 80 years, 4 months and 18 days.1,2 He was buried on 27 August 1993 in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
     He was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and a Republican in politics. He was employed as a machinist for Lycoming Avco.
