     Jay Harris Reeder was born on 7 June 1921 at Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Foster A. Reeder and Edna Florence Updegraff. Jay Harris Reeder married, at age 23, Lula M. Dangle, daughter of William George Dangle and Olive Rebecca Rathmell, on Thursday, 5 April 1945 at Warrensville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 Jay Harris Reeder died on 17 January 1997 at age 75 years, 7 months and 10 days.1
     He was employed by the Williamsport Municipal Water Works. He was in military service with the Army Air Force between August 1942 and December 1945.
