     J. Kenneth Abernatha was born on 15 January 1916 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of James Mensch Abernatha and Ruth Edna Updegraff. J. Kenneth Abernatha married, at age 37, Dorothy Baker, daughter of E. Roy Baker and Amy E. Nestlerode, on Friday, 7 August 1953 at Mill Hall, Bald Eagle Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.1 J. Kenneth Abernatha died on 4 June 1970 at age 54 years, 4 months and 20 days.1 He was buried in the Mount Bethel Cemetery, located in Lamar, Potter Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.1
