     Zachariah Hauser Updegraff was born on 6 August 1888 at Newton, Jasper County, Illinois.1 He was the son of Samuel Edgar Updegraff and Jeffersonia Belle Hauser. Zachariah Hauser Updegraff married, at age 20, Susie M. Herndon, daughter of George P. Herndon and Lena R. Taylor, on Tuesday, 20 April 1909.1 Zachariah Hauser Updegraff married Genevieve [—?—] circa 1919. Zachariah Hauser Updegraff died on 3 June 1957 at San Francisco, San Francisco County, California, at age 68 years, 9 months and 28 days.1
