Leslie Harry Elliott was born on 3 October 1906 at Clark County, Illinois.1 He was the son of George Franklin Elliott and Clara Sharp.2 Leslie Harry Elliott married, at age 27, Jeanette Zimmerman, daughter of Daniel Leroy Zimmerman and Sadie Greenwood, on Saturday, 17 March 1934 at Greenville, Darke County, Ohio.3 Leslie Harry Elliott died on 13 December 1998 at age 92 years, 2 months and 10 days.1
He was a salesman in 1970.3 As of 1987, Leslie Harry Elliott lived at 5409 Skyridge Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana.3 His obituary was published on 15 December 1998 in the Evansville Courier & Press, printed in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Indiana. His obituary stated:
Leslie H. "Bob" Elliott, 92, formerly of Evansville, died Sunday at Hooverwood Health Care Center in Indianapolis.
He was a salesman and had worked for Lloys's Studebaker and Kenny Kent Chevrolet.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon D. Gagnon; a son, Daniel R. Elliott of Carmel; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette (Zimmerman).
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crown Hill Cemetery Gothic Chapel, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent's Hospital or a favorite charity.4 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Leslie's last known residence was Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana.1
