Joy Irene Morrison was born on 22 May 1912 at Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon.1 She was the daughter of Lloyd E. Morrison and Josie Irene Zumwalt. Joy Irene Morrison married, at age 18, Vernon E. Warnock, age 29 on Wednesday, 8 October 1930.2 Joy Irene Morrison died on 14 December 1985 at Lewistown, Fergus County, Idaho, at age 73 years, 6 months and 22 days.1 She was buried in the Enterprise Cemetery, located in Enterprise, Wallowa County, Oregon.
She and Vernon E. Warnock were both ranchers until they retired at which time they raced horses, later had a laundromat at Pomery, Washington, then again retired at Asotin, Washington. They had no children.
