Gertrude Jean Nuttle was born on 30 May 1928.1 She was the daughter of Barney Owen Nuttle and Lucy Beach Updegraff. Gertrude Jean Nuttle married Homer Augustine Jordan.1 Gertrude Jean Nuttle died on 20 April 2011 at El Dorado Hills, El Dorado County, California, at age 82 years, 10 months and 21 days.
She was widowed at age 77 by the death of Homer on 3 February 2006. Her obituary was published on 23 April 2011 in the The Sacramento Bee, printed in Sacramento, Sacramento County, California. Her obituary stated:
Jean was the wife of Homer, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons Dan & Michael, daughter Linda Jimenez (Greg), grandson, Tony Gomez (Beth);1 gr-grandson, sisters Dorothy Nowicki, Barbara Coleman & Margaret Naylor.
Jean was an oil color artist and member of the North Highlands Artist Guild, & American Legion Ladies Auxillary.
Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Sacramento, CA., April 26, 2011, 1:00 p.m.
