     Edith Updegraff was born in 1775. She was the daughter of John Updegraff and Ann Harlan. Edith Updegraff married Nathan Phipps, son of Sam Phipps and Mary Marshall, on Friday, 29 September 1797.1 Edith Updegraff died in June 1845 at age 70 years.
