     Catharina Waltz was born in 1842 at Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Abraham Waltz and Carolina Stolz. Catharina Waltz married Abraham Kurtz, son of Johann Jacob Kurz and Dorothea Wolf, circa 1862.2 Catharina Waltz died in 1908 at age 66 years.3
