Wilma Pauline Losch was born on 15 September 1915. She was the daughter of Charles Franklin Losch and Freda Ruth Miller.1 Wilma Pauline Losch died on 1 May 2007 at age 91 years, 7 months and 16 days.
Her obituary was published on 8 May 2007 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Wilma Losch Liddle, 91, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Williamsport, died Tuesday, May 1, in the Sherman House of the Valley Hospice in Phoenix after an illness of several years.
She was born in Crystal City, Texas, on Sept. 15, 1915, the daughter of Charles and Freda Losch of Williamsport.
She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1933 and subsequently from Lock Haven University. Her teaching career began in a one-room schoolhouse in Quiggleville.
She was married to the late Alex Liddle of Williamsport and resided in Perkasie and Shippensburg.
She later returned to Williamsport, where she taught at Cochran Elementary School for 15 years. It is hoped that her legacy might be that she made a difference in peoples' lives through her students.
Her only sister, Doris (Mrs. Laurence P. Maynard Jr.), survives her. She also is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Mrs. Timothy Smyth) and grandchildren, Amy, Molly and Matthew, all of Phoenix; a son, James (Darla) of York; stepsons, Blake and Jeremy; daughter, Jane (Mrs. Gary Koser) of Fayetteville; and grandchildren, Tracy and Ty. She also is survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service in Wildwood Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.1
