     Dorothy N. Cohick was born on 20 March 1923.1 She was the daughter of Frank Abraham Cohick and Hattie M. Robinson.1 Dorothy N. Cohick died on 28 February 2006 at age 82 years, 11 months and 8 days.1
     Her obituary was published on 1 March 2006 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Dorothy N. Corson, 82, of 86 Helminiak St., died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006. Her husband, Clyde Corson, died May 7, 1978.

Dorothy had been a cafeteria manager for the Williamsport School District, working at Lose and Stevens schools and the Central Kitchen. Following her retirement, she was a cook at the Columbia Hotel.

She was a member of St. John’s Chapel United Methodist Church and volunteered at Manor Care North for many years. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, gardening and houseplants.

Born March 20, 1923, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Frank and Hattie Robinson Cohick.

Surviving are her daughter, Ruth E. (Ed) Bresnock of Cogan Station; sons, Mark A. (Ann) Corson of city and Clyde C. (Maxine) Corson; brothers, Carl L. (Beatrice) and Donald L. Cohick, both of city; daughter-in-law, Brenda Corson of Salladasburg; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Stephen K., in April of 2002, six sisters and five brothers.

Funeral service will be Saturday, 11 am at Knight-Confer’s, 1914 Memorial Ave., with the Rev. Philip D. Meanor, her pastor, officiating. Interment in St. John’s Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 to 11 a.m. the day of the service.

The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions to the church, 25 Scenic View Drive, Linden, PA 17744, or Susquehanna Home Hospice, c/o the Providence Health System Foundation, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport.1
