Walter G. Fink Jr. was born on 5 August 1923 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Walter G. Fink and Margaret S. Aderhold. Walter G. Fink Jr. married, at age 19, Betty Lessler on Saturday, 20 February 1943. Walter G. Fink Jr. died on 15 November 2007 at Manor Care Health Center, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 84 years, 3 months and 10 days.1
His obituary was published on 16 November 2007 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
Walter G. Fink Jr., 84, of 160 Fink Lane, Linden, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007 at Manor Care North following a lengthy illness.
Walter and his wife, the former Betty J. Leffler, observed their 64th anniversary on Feb. 20, 2007. Walter was self-employed.
Born May 8, 1923 in Williamsport, he was the son of Walter G. Sr. and Margaret S. Aderhold Fink.
Surviving besides his wife are daughters, Bonnie J. (Ken) Phillips of Cogan Station and Darlene G. Cuozzo of Williamsport; a son, William G. (Cathy) of Linden; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Walter was predeceased by a brother, John E. Fink in 1994.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery. No visitation. The family will provide the flowers and suggests donations to the charity of the donor’s choice. Knight-Confer Funeral Home.1
