Fenstermaker in 1976.1 Wilbur C. Vaughn Jr. died on 18 July 2002 at 2657 Bottle Run Road, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 70 years and 1 day.1,2
Wilbur C. Vaughn Jr. also went by the name of Bill.1 His obituary was published on 20 July 2002 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
Wilbur “Bill” C. Vaughn, Jr., 70, of 2657 Bottle Run Road, died on Thursday, July 18, 2002, at his home, following a brief illness.
He was married to the former Vernice A. Fenstermaker for 26 years.
He retired as a customer contact representative for P. P. & L. He was a member of the Antique Auto Club in Berwick and collected antique lawn mowers.
He was born on July 17, 1932, in Berwick, a son of Wilbur C. and Almena Rees Vaughn, Sr.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a daughter, Autumn Pfieffer of Berwick; one brother, Charles in CA; one sister, Patti Vaughn of Bloomsburg; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, June.
In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, there will be no visitation. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests that contributions be made to the Susquehanna Regional Home Health & Hospice, c/o the Providence Health System Foundation, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701. Knight-Confer Funeral Home.1 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Wilbur's last known residence was Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
