     George W. Kurtz was born in December 1877 at Warrensville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 He was the son of Jacob Kurz and Maria Schuld.3 George W. Kurtz married, at age 45, Eva Martha Rayhorn, age 32, daughter of Henry James Rayhorn and Mary Lucinda Kline, on Tuesday, 17 July 1923.3 George W. Kurtz died in 1941 at Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 63 years.4 He was buried in the Kurtz Family Cemetery, located in Eldred Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.5
