     Jakob Schlecht was born on 19 February 1752 at Weidach, Oberamt Blaubeuren, Donaukreis, Württemberg.1 He was the son of Daniel Schlecht and Maria Auch-Schwarz.1 Jakob Schlecht married, at age 23, Margarete Stäbler, age 38, daughter of Michael Stäbler and Anna Agate Gunther, on Tuesday, 21 November 1775.1 Jakob Schlecht died on 15 October 1830 at Weidach, Oberamt Blaubeuren, Donaukreis, Württemberg, at age 78 years, 7 months and 26 days.1
