     Michael Steck was born on 28 March 1718 at Weidach, Oberamt Blaubeuren, Donaukreis, Württemberg.1 He was the son of Hans Jerg Steck and Anna Niesslin.1 Michael Steck married, at age 38, Margarete Stäbler, age 19, daughter of Michael Stäbler and Anna Agate Gunther, on Tuesday, 2 November 1756 at Weidach, Oberamt Blaubeuren, Donaukreis, Württemberg.1 Michael Steck died on 29 October 1773 at Weidach, Oberamt Blaubeuren, Donaukreis, Württemberg, at age 55 years, 7 months and 1 day.1
