     Opal Irene Lanam was born on 29 August 1898 at Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois.1 She was the daughter of Charles G. Lanam and Gertrude Irene Pierce. Opal Irene Lanam married, at age 31, Christopher Bertram Haugen, age 43 on Wednesday, 18 December 1929.1 Opal Irene Lanam died on 11 October 1982 at Seattle, King County, Washington, at age 84 years, 1 month and 12 days.1 She was buried in the Acacia Memorial Park Cemetery, located in Seattle, King County, Washington.1
