Raymond Howard Young

     Raymond Howard Young was born on 25 May 1934 at Warrensville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of William Frederick Young and Ella Sarah Leonard. Raymond Howard Young died on 1 March 2003 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 68 years, 9 months and 4 days. He was buried in the Edgewood Cemetery, located in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     His obituary was published on 5 March 2003 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:

     Raymond H. Young Sr., 68, of 450 Center St., died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at the Williamsport Hospital.

     He was born May 25, 1934, in Warrensville, the son of William Fred and Ella Sarah Leonard Young.

     Raymond was a self-employed landscaper. He was a fan of the Mets baseball team. He also enjoyed flea markets, the farmers market and traveling.

     Surviving are four sons, James of Johnstown, Donald of Linden, Robert of Milton and Raymond of Lebanon; a sister, Mary of Williamsport; a brother, Eugene of Williamsport; eight grandchildren; five nieces; and three nephews.

     He was predeceased by a brother, George, and a sister, Cora.

     Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Raymond’s life beginning at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 6. Services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Roy D. Meyer officiating. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Services will be handled by the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St.
