Elizabeth Johnson Cassel was born on 14 March 1778 at Towamencin, Philadelphia County, Province of Pennsylvania, USA. She was the daughter of Hupert Cassel and Magdalena W. Johnson. Elizabeth Johnson Cassel married, at age 19, John Luckens Boorse, age 33, son of Harman Boors and Susannah Maule Luckens, on Thursday, 8 June 1797 at Mennonite Meeting House, Towamencin, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth Johnson Cassel died on 26 July 1830 at Towamencin, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, at age 52 years, 4 months and 12 days.
