John W. Stonebarger, 79, Troy, formally of Warrenton, died September 4, 2002 in Lincoln Co. Nursing and Rehab, Troy.
Born to John F. and Lena L.( Ruhr) Stonebarger on Sept. 5, 1922 in Warrenton.
A retired farmer and served in the United States Army during WWll.
Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Elmer W. Stonebarger and Samuel P. Stonebarger.
Survived by two sisters, Melba Mennemeier, Moscow Mills and Grace Gerdeman of Wright City. Two sisters-in-law, Wilma Stonebarger, Warrenton and Marie Stonebarger, Hawk Point.
Funeral services were Sept. 7 at 11 a.m.
Interment was in the Warrenton City Cemetery.
