Zola Isabelle Yoakum was born on 18 July 1916 at New Meadows, Adams County, Idaho.1,2 She was the daughter of Marvin A. Yoakum and Elsie J. [—?—] Zola Isabelle Yoakum married Maurice Huntley in 1952.2 Zola Isabelle Yoakum died on 7 September 2003 at age 87 years, 1 month and 20 days.1,2
Her obituary was published on 11 September 2003 in the The Oregonian, printed in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon. Her obituary stated:
Zola Isabelle Huntley 09/11/03 A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, in Sunnyside Little Chapel of the Chimes for Zola Isabelle Huntley. She died Sept. 7 at age 87. Zola Yoakum was born July 18, 1916, in New Meadows, Idaho. She moved in 1941 to Portland, and owned the 715 Inn. In 1952, she married Maurice; he died in 1989. Survivors include her daughter, LaDonna Remillard; brother, Pete Yoakum; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.2 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Zola's last known residence was Clackamas, Clackamas County, Oregon.1
