     Alexander McWilliams was born on 16 October 1813 at Madison County, Kentucky.1 He was the son of Andrew McWilliams and Mary Kincaid. Alexander McWilliams married, at age 23, Martha Patsy Yoakum, age 20, daughter of John Yoakum and Rachel Weaver, on Thursday, 24 August 1837.1 Alexander McWilliams died on 27 September 1870 at Ellenboro, Grant County, Wisconsin, at age 56 years, 11 months and 11 days.1 He was buried in the Union Cemetery, located in Lima Township, Grant County, Wisconsin.1
