KARAN E. HOWARD
Karan E. Howard, 47, of Kansas City, KS, passed away May 23, 2002, at her home. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2002, at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Karan was born in Kansas City, KS, and was a lifelong 'Rosedalian.' She worked for Permatex, Inc., for nine years and was the union steward for Local #41. Karan was an avid bingo player at Hattie's. She was a fine and wonderful mother.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Cheek, a son, Michael Howard, her mother and stepfather, Lena and Pete Johnson, her father, Alfred R. VanBebber Sr., and a brother, Alfred R. VanBebber Jr., all of Kansas City, KS; two sisters, Marilyn Martin, Parkville, MO, Kimberly Rouse, Topeka, KS; four grandchildren, Patrick Santoyo, Jacob Cheek, Christian Michael Howard, Hailey Ann Howard; many nieces and nephews; and her dogs, Rowdy and Troubles.
