     Olive King was born on 26 October 1859 at Kings Valley, Benton County, Oregon. She was the daughter of Isaac King and Almeda Jane VanBebber. Olive King married, at age 19, William L. Read, age 21 on Friday, 18 July 1879 at Kings Valley, Benton County, Oregon. Olive King died on 22 April 1934 at Monmouth, Polk County, Oregon, at age 74 years, 5 months and 27 days.
