Nancy June McClintock

Nancy June McClintock was born on 5 June 1938 at Bloomsburg, Columbia County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Seth Issacher McClintock and Pauline Francis Hartzell.1 Nancy June McClintock married Gilbert Ellsworth Sholder, son of Floyd Bixler Sholder and Helen Elizabeth Shaffer, circa 1956. Nancy June McClintock died on 13 October 2016 at age 78 years, 4 months and 8 days.
As of 2002, Nancy June McClintock and Gilbert Ellsworth Sholder lived at 708 Stopper Road, Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Her obituary was published on 15 October 2016 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Nancy June Sholder, 78, of McElhattan, died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at her home.
Born June 5, 1938, in Bloomsburg, she was a daughter of the late Seth and Pauline (Hartzel) McClintock.
Nancy retired from the former Cobbler’s Shoes as a lacing and machine operator.
She was simple woman who enjoyed her flower beds, feeding the birds, especially the hummingbirds, and baking.
Surviving is her husband of 60 years, Gilbert E. “Pete” Sholder, three daughters, Linda L. Palmatier, of Jersey Shore, Elizabeth I. (Samuel) Fritz, of McElhattan, and Dawn M. (Randy) Brague, of Montoursville, a sister, Patricia Avery, of Texas, six grandchildren, Shawn (Heather) Clark, Shannon (Shawn) Lape, Bobbie (Damien) Packer, Melissa Palmatier, Cody (Samantha) Brague, and Cory Brague, eight great-grandchildren, Drayton, Devin, Dakota, Gage, Riley, Makayla, Chloe, and Cameron.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Drumm.
In keeping with Nancy’s wishes there will be no service and burial will be held at a later date in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s name to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
