Mosteller died on 18 January 1973 at Mosquito Valley Road, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 19 years, 9 months and 11 days.2,1,3,4 She was buried on 22 January 1973 in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,3
She graduated in June 1972 from South Williamsport High School, located in South Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3 Her obituary was published on 19 January 1973 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
The funeral will be Monday for Miss Clara I. Mosteller, 19, of Williamsport RD3, who was killed Thursday morning, Jan. 18, 1973, when a car driven by her brother, LeRoy C. Mosteller, also of Williamsport RD 3, crashed into a tree head on about a mile south of DuBoistown on the Mosquito Valley Road.
Born here on April 7, 1953, she was the daughter of Glen and Maudie Sholder Mosteller.
Miss Mosteller was graduated from the South Williamsport High School last June.
Surviving, besides her brother LeRoy, are a daughter, Corrie Ann, at home; her mother, with whom she lived; her father, of New Columbia RD 1; another brother, Dwight W., at home; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Mosteller, of this city, and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Sholder, of Williamsport RD 2.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Spitler's, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville. Burial will be in the Twin Hills Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.3
