MARGARET THAYER MASON
CENTERVILLE, Del. - Margaret Thayer Mason, 77, of Centerville died Sept. 29, 2000, at home.
She was a native of Charleston, W.Va., a member of Vicmead Hunt Club and Biderman Golf Club. She was a former member of the Junior League of Wilmington.
Surviving: son, Matthew D. III of New Hope, Pa; daughter, Margaret Lynn Fuller of Wilmington; brother, Garland Todd Thayer III of Old Lyme; sister, Annette Thayer West of New Canaan; four grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church, Greenville. Burial will be private. Chandler Funeral Home, Wilmington, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Delaware Hospice, 3515 Silverside Road, Wilmington, DE 19810, or to Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church, 101 Old Kennett Road, Greenville, DE 19807.
