Myers about John Lowden and his family, about their removal to New Garden, County Carlow, Ireland in 1703 and their arrival in Pennsylvania in 1711, settling in Chester County, Pennsylvania. In 1734, his children sold his plantation in New Garden Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania by deed. Records can also be found on page 638 - 'History of Chester County, PA by Futhey and Cope. He was a Quaker Preacher.
