Robert Wesley Hollingsworth was born on 31 August 1851 at Tazewell, Claiborne County, Tennessee. He was the son of William Wesley Hollingsworth and Mahala Jane Stinnett. Robert Wesley Hollingsworth married, at age 22, Sarah Ann Yoakum, age 28, daughter of Aaron Alvice Yoakum and Lucinda Elizabeth Doak, on Wednesday, 3 December 1873. Robert Wesley Hollingsworth died on 24 May 1930 at age 78 years, 8 months and 24 days.1 He was buried in the Cowgill Cemetery, located in Cowgill, Caldwell County, Missouri.1
