Elizabeth VanSchoten was born in 1838 at Michigan.1,2 She first married Cornelius L. Olmstead in 1855.2 Elizabeth VanSchoten married a second time Jacob VanBuren LePard, son of Isaac LePard and Nancy Huffman, in 1878.1,2 Elizabeth VanSchoten died in 1902 at Michigan at age 64 years.1,2 She was buried in the Lakeside Cemetery, located in Lake Odessa, Ionia County, Michigan.2
She was widowed by the death of Cornelius on 2 February 1870.2
