     Carrie A. Darby was born on 10 March 1865 at Michigan.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Wallace Darby and Elizabeth A. Freeland.4,5 Carrie A. Darby married Will E. Cassel, son of George Cassel and Leah [—?—], circa 1884.2,6,3 Carrie A. Darby died on 20 June 1936 at Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan, at age 71 years, 3 months and 10 days.2,3 She was buried in plot 679, in the Lakeside Cemetery, located in Lake Odessa, Ionia County, Michigan.3
     She appeared on the census of 1930 in the household of Nelson Orlando Valentine and Nellie A. Cassel at Grand Rapids, Kent County, Michigan.1
