Abraham B. Cassel was born on 12 April 1825 at Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of John Cassel and Sarah Biehn. Abraham B. Cassel married, at age 24, Catherine Gehman, age 18 on Sunday, 6 May 1849 at Waterloo, Ontario Province, Canada. Abraham B. Cassel died in 1903 at Lakeview, Cato Township, Montcalm County, Michigan, at age 77 years.
