Lettie Fern Good

     Lettie Fern Good was born on 12 January 1903 at Clark County, Illinois. She was the daughter of Joseph G. Good and Lydia Carver. Lettie Fern Good married, at age 20, William Dewey Stonebarger, age 25, son of Samuel Isaac Stonebarger and Susan Jane VanBibber, on Thursday, 16 August 1923. Lettie Fern Good died on 9 December 1961 at age 58 years, 10 months and 27 days. She was buried on 12 December 1961 in the Warrenton Cemetery, located in Warrenton, Warren County, Missouri.

MRS. LETTIE FERN (GOOD) STONEBARGER

Mrs. Lettie Fern (Good) Stonebarger, youngest daughter of Joseph G. and Lydia (Carver) Good - 58, died Dec. 9, 1961.

She was born Jan.12, 1903 in Clark Co., ILL. At the age of two she moved with her parents to a farm in Warrenton.

After completing her formal education at Central Wesleyan College, she taught in rural schools for 5 years.

On Aug. 16, 1923 she married William Dewey Stonebarger. To this union was nine children, eight of whom survive. Leon of Wright City; Mina ( Mrs. D. J. Gibbs) and Joseph of St. Louis; Eldon James, La Una ( Mrs. Douglas Wyatt) and Roger of Warrenton; and Carol and Ronald of the home. One daughter, Maxine, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, four daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, twelve grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Lydia Good, a sister, Mrs. Nellie Schowe, two brothers, William and John Good.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12th at the College Methodist Church in Warrenton by Rev. H.L. Wegener. Interment was made at Warrenton Cemetery.

She was 58 years, 10 months and 27 days old.
