Dorothy G. MADISON
Dorothy Gayle Madison, 59, Dunnegan, died Thursday, March 4, 1999, in Citizens Memorial Hospital. The daughter of Luther and Myrtie Hollingsworth Van Bebber, she was born in Kansas City, Kan., on June 29, 1939. She was married on Nov. 27, 1961, to Russell K. Madison, and they lived on a farm west of Humansville where she was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jack and Bob Van Bebber; two sisters, Peggy Enochs and Betty Cousin; and a child who died in infancy.
Survivors include her husband, Russell, of the home; four children, Connie Roehrs and Rhonda Sweeney, both of Lamar, Russell Madison Jr. and Gene Madison, both of Dunnegan; a brother, Jim Van Bebber of Kansas City; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services were Saturday, March 6, in Alder Cemetery west of Humansville with the Rev. Don Covington officiating. Pallbearers were John Wesley, Willie Dodson, Joe Nottingham, Ron Roehrs, Jerry Cook, Leonard Baker, Roy Scott and Jason Neal. Arrangements were under the direction of Murray Funeral Home, Humansville.
