She died Monday in a hospital. Mrs. Van Bibber, born in San Diego, was a lifelong county resident. She retired in 1978 as a teacher from the San Diego Unified School District and had graduated from San Diego State. She was an active member of the San Diego Historical Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra L. Seckington of San Diego and Margaret H. Walter of Visalia, Calif; and two grandchildren. The family suggested donations to the historical society. Page: AA-7.
