     Mildred Irene Ziegel was born on 17 August 1913 at Knierim, Calhoun County, Iowa.1 She married, at age 19, Lloyd Thomas Ellis, age 21, son of Oscar Thomas Ellis and Elsabe Amanda Spiess, on Monday, 10 July 1933.1 Mildred Irene Ziegel died on 26 October 2005 at Manson, Calhoun County, Iowa, at age 92 years, 2 months and 9 days.1 She was buried on 31 October 2005 in the Greenfield Township Cemetery, located in Knierim, Calhoun County, Iowa.1
     She was widowed at age 81 by the death of Lloyd on 19 August 1994.1
