Kinne married Doris Jean Yoakum, daughter of Charles Irvin Yoakum and Lola Susan Helm, on Saturday, 25 November 1944 at Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. Donald L. Kinne died on 28 October 1995 at Hamilton Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home, Missouri, at age 74 years. He was buried in the Highland Cemetery, located in Hamilton, Caldwell County, Missouri.

Visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton. The family requests contributions be made to
the Penney High School Scholarship Fund at Southwest Missouri State University Student Foundation, 901 South National, Springfield, MO, 65804.
Mr. Kinne was born in Hamilton, MO, and lived all his life in Caldwell County. He attended Penney High School, Hamilton. He farmed all his adult life. He served in WWII and was an M.P. in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Hamilton Federated Church. He was married to the former Jean Yoakum, November 25, 1944, in Kansas City, KS. His survivors include his wife, Jean Kinne, of the home; a son Gordon Kinne, Springfield, MO; daughter, Sandra Dodd, Cameron, MO; brother, Fina Kinne, Jr., Hamilton; sisters, Doris Bothwell, Mooresville, MO, Ada Lee Bowen, Lee's Summit, MO; and five grandchildren.
