Lloyd Richardson Jr. was born on 15 July 1919 at Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois. He was the son of Lloyd Richardson and Ina Frohwitter. Lloyd Richardson Jr. married Alma Mae VanBebber, daughter of Clifford Millo VanBebber and Lena Mae Ingram, in 1941. Lloyd Richardson Jr. died in July 1995 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois, at age 75 years and 11 months. He was buried in the Camp Butler National Cemetery, located in Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois.

Obituary: Lloyd 'Bit' Richardson, Jr., 75, of Springfield died Tuesday at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born July 15, 1919, in Springfield, the son of Lloyd and Ina Frohwitter Richardson Sr. He married Alma Mae VanBebber in 1941. Mr. Richardson was a lifelong resident of Springfield. He retired in 1983 from Springfield Produce, where he was a truck driver and warehouseman for 40 years. He was a member of Cherry Hills Baptist Church, and a lifetime member of Springfield Motor Boat Club. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors: wife, Alma Mae; two daughters, Judie Kerr and Mrs. Mike (Jill) Christofilakos, both of Springfield; three sons, Steven Richardson of Brighton, Colo., Kirk Richardson of Aurora, Colo., and Craig Richardson of Springfield; seven grandchildren; a stepgrandson; six great-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; two sisters, Ina Richardson of Springfield and Ann Marie Ostermeier of Hemet, Calif; three brothers, Carl and Donald Richardson, both of Springfield, and Albert Richardson of Whittier, Calif; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: 9:30 a.m. Friday, Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. Jeff Nelsen officiating.
Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery.
