Obituary: Wilma Pauline Van Bebber, 76, of Springfield died Wednesday at Memorial Medical Center. She was born June 25, 1919, in Modesto, the daughter of Milton and Florence Smithson Davenport. She married Gilbert Van Bebber in 1947. Mrs. Van Bebber was formerly employed by Springfield Public Schools and retired from the Springfield Police Department. She was a member of Elliot Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors: husband, Gilbert 'Dutch' Van Bebber; five daughters, Mrs. John (Sharon) Adams, Mrs. Marshall (Peggy) Pressler and Mrs. Virgil (Sally) Smith, all of Springfield, Bonnie Horn of Riverton and Mrs. Larry (Susan) Pitts of El Dorado Springs, Mo; a son, Ronald Yaeck of El Dorado, Mo; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six step grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; a sister, Velma Reid of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 1 p.m. Monday, Bisch and Son Funeral Home, Rev. Gary Rhodes officiating.
Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery.
