Roland Blankenship was born on 20 April 1885 at Kentucky. He was the son of George Washington Blankenship and Hannah Elizabeth Moles. Roland Blankenship married Minnie Endicott, daughter of Samuel Endicott and California Clark, circa 1907. Roland Blankenship died on 15 May 1966 at Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky, at age 81 years and 25 days.
